Expert lawyer in life sciences and intellectual property for over 25 years, offering services to Mexican and foreign clients. In 1994 he founded the firm SOLCARGO Abogados Law Firm (Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez Correa, S.C.) a very prestigious law firm in which he served as a founding partner, in charge of the area of Life Sciences and Intellectual Property, and participated in relevant transactions in Mexico and other countries, such as pharma and biotech patent litigation, health law consultancies for major pharmaceutical companies, among others.
I have been for the last 25 years, he has been a professor of undergraduate and graduates degrees at UNAM, as well as at other prestigious educational centers, such as Universidad Panamericana, Universidad de las Américas, Universidad Iberoamericana, and Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IPIDEC). He has given courses and conferences on health law, intellectual property, unfair competition, and other legal matters.

Luis López Linaldi started his professional career in 2003 and has worked in Mexico and abroad. He worked overseas in Geneva, Switzerland, where he worked at CUTS International, at the International Trade Centre which is a joint agency between the United Nations and the World Trade Organization (WTO) and at the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the WTO, where he advised on international trade matters, international dispute settlement, technical barriers to trade, foreign investment, trade in services and sanitary and phytosanitary measures.

Before founding Solórzano Linaldi (SL), in 2012, he joined SOLCARGO Law Firm (Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez-Correa, S.C.) as Senior Associate; in 2015, he was promoted to Partner. He worked at SOLCARGO until November 2020 and participated in important advisory and transactional regulatory matters, including health regulation, international trade, e-commerce, personal data protection, advertising, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering.
He is a regular speaker at international events and conferences in his areas of practice, and in 2017 he was included by “Expansion” magazine as one of the “30 Prominent Leaders to Lead the Change”. He is currently President of the Marketing and Advertising Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico, and is ranked by the most important legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Leaders League and Best Lawyers, among others.

She began her professional career in 2000, at a law firm where she advised companies in commercial law and tax matters. Subsequently, she interned at the Tax Administration Service (IRS equivalent) in the General Customs Administration area, where she assisted in customs clearance procedures.
In 2002, she joined the firm SOLCARGO Abogados Law Firm (Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez Correa, S.C.) as an Associate in the area of Administrative Law, where she began her practice of litigation in Intellectual Property, Life Sciences and Sanitary law disputes. She worked at SOLCARGO until November 2020.
She has advised companies in the food, pharmaceutical, and alcoholic beverages sectors to obtain license and marketing authorizations from the health authority and the design and execution of legal strategies for the defense of major companies in the generic drugs market.
She has also advised various companies on legal tax and foreign trade disputes, as well as in the design and structuring of their bid proposals in public procurement procedures and the implementation of litigation strategies on the matter, even serving as a social witness in various public bidding procedures.
In matters of industrial property, she has had a long professional record in the implementation of all kinds of litigations, from administrative procedures in terms of the previous Industrial Property Law, to amparo trials (extraordinary constitutional appeal) before federal judges and appeals before the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice. As a result of her extensive experience in administrative litigation, she has obtained judicial precedents, including Supreme Court landmark decisions, which have widely benefited the advised companies.

She began her professional career in 2002, as an intern in the Trademark Department at Goodrich Riquelme & Associates Law Firm, to later consolidate as a lawyer at this firm for 6 years. Later, she worked at Panamerican Patent and Trademark firm in the Department of Foreign Trademarks and Patents where she coordinated and followed up trademark and patent procedures in various jurisdictions around the world.

Afterwards, in Madrid, Spain, she worked at the IUVE Foundation, where she advised on Industrial and Intellectual Property matters and coordinated the “Lisbon Generation” and “Looping Europe” events. In the academic part, she was a professor of the course “Legal Aspects of Design” at Universidad Anáhuac México Sur for 5 consecutive years.
Before joining Solórzano Linaldi (SL), she joined the firm SOLCARGO Abogados Law Firm (Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez-Correa, S.C.) as Senior Associate in 2010, where she worked until November 2020. Alan Francisco Osorio Aragón is an attorney with experience in regulatory law, intellectual property, and administrative law. He has been part of Solórzano Linaldi (SL) since its inception, where he has developed a practice focused on designing and implementing legal strategies for highly regulated industries, particularly in the areas of industrial property, regulatory compliance, and health regulation.
His professional career began in 2013 at UNAM’s Institute for Legal Research (Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas), where he participated in academic and research projects related to bioethics, health, and biolaw. In 2016, he was awarded first place in UNAM’s “Benito Juárez” National Essay Competition. He later worked at SOLCARGO Abogados, where he contributed to the development of a legal intelligence practice focused on the patent system and Mexico’s health regulatory framework, as well as on proceedings before administrative and constitutional authorities.
In his professional practice, Alan specializes in regulatory risk analysis, the technical interpretation of complex regulatory frameworks, and strategic support in proceedings before government authorities, with a practical approach oriented toward business operations and corporate decision-making. In recent years, he has also incorporated a strong focus on the legal analysis of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, including compliance, advertising, data protection, and governance matters, assisting clients in implementing internal criteria and preventive measures to mitigate regulatory and reputational risks.
His profile is complemented by a strong academic background at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he earned a Master’s Degree in Constitutional Law, graduating with honors, as well as specialized studies in mediation, human rights, and bioethics. He also participated in an international academic exchange program at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the University of Caldas (Manizales, Colombia), which strengthened his comparative perspective on regulatory and public law matters.
Additionally, he is a co-author of the book Bioethics and Judicial Decisions, edited and published by UNAM’s Institute for Legal Research, reflecting his early interest in the interaction between regulation, public policy, and judicial standards. Fernanda Romero Ojeda started her professional career in 2018, at a law firm in the city of Puebla, Mexico, where she advised national and multinational companies in corporate law, commercial law, contract law, regulatory matters and energy law. She also participated both in the design of legal strategies and their execution, in commercial and constitutional litigation, especially with companies specialized in the manufacturing of auto parts and automobile manufacturers with international presence.
Fernand completed a program in Energy Law at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed an Intensive Course on Energy Audits organized by the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA).
Fernanda is currently an Associate of the firm Solórzano Linaldi (SL) whose practice is focused on advising national and international companies in various sectors, especially in corporate matters, intellectual property, sanitary regulation and advertising.
